MOBILITY IN MENDE (FRANCE)

Mende from 26 to 30 september 2023 

Mende being the first mobility of the 4 between September and July 2023, we proposed to the 3  European partners to present their school, their city and region and finally one or several typical  traditions of their country. 

To illustrate this last point we proposed a cheese tasting, a typical meal, a traditional breakfast and  an initiation to folk dances.  

A visit of the historic city with a guide allowed the 3 partners to measure how much Mende is  anchored in its history, its traditions and its myths. Likewise we visited a natural park with wolves  to make the link between the legend of the Beast of Gevaudan and the protection of this animal Our subject being " All different, all equal ", workshops on disability were proposed: dyspraxia,  total or partial blindness, total and partial deafness. 

To formalize the Erasmus project, we were received by the first deputy at the town hall. A  press article was published on the town hall website and a press conference was  organized at the scholl with the newspaper MidiLibre of our region and the newspaper La  Lozere Nouvelle of our department.
