This project has had impact that has been measured:
STUDENTS: the academic results in the 2022-23 academic year of the participating students were compared with the results of the same students the previous year. In addition, a comparison was carried out between the group of students who had participated and those who had not. In most cases we find a positive compensation.
TEACHERS: with the aim of measuring the degree of compliance with the objectives, a survey was carried out in all centers to all teachers using Google Forms at the beginning of the project (September 2021) in which they asked about:
- the degree of use of active methodologies in the classroom
- the degree of knowledge and awareness towards the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda
- the degree of evaluation by competencies carried out the previous year
At the end of the project (May 2023), the same survey was carried out on all teachers in the last mobility, in which they had to answer the same questions and also indicate whether they had participated in the Erasmus Project. Positive correlations were found (to a greater or lesser degree depending on the centers), mainly in the first and second questions.
In the coordinating high school, in Spain, it has not been possible to take into account the third variable given that, with the entry of the LOMLOE, evaluation by competencies has become mandatory, so it is not possible to assess whether this item has been seen increased or not by the participation of each teacher in the project.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: at the end of each activity, the country that organized it prepared a survey for the students and another for the teachers in which different aspects related to mobility itself were asked, in order to understand and improve the processes. The results have been uploaded to the project's Classroom (the questionnaires are on the website).
IMPACT-Rubric created by all the partners used to assess our projects and that will be used in our schools in the future:
After the mobilities it was time to check if the objectives had been achieved. All the activities were evaluated through questionnaires and with the information obtained, changes were implemented in order to improve the next mobilities.
As a result of the strong work relationship created during the project, of the educational improvement that we have observed after working together and learning from each other, the participating schools want to return to work together on a future project that Finland will coordinate.
Last but not least, the students created a newspaper where they shared their experiences and the objectives achieved. This newspaper has been distributed freely in Finland and shared by all the partners.
