Eligibility
Information on previous academic requirements and the Entrance exam sat by all hopeful admissions. All students wishing to study at university in Sweden, are required to have studied Swedish A. There are a few universities that offer courses that do not require Swedish A. You can find them on www.antagning.se .
Applying to PreIB
If you are in your final year of secondary school (årskurs 9), then your next step is to join our PreIB class. Register yourself on Indra,www.indra2.se , or speak to your career counselor (studievägledare). If you do not currently live in Sweden, please contact Gymnasieantagningen, the central admissions office for Gothenburg high schools, at gymnasieantagningen@goteborgsregionen.se. You can also find the application form on our homepage if you click here.
Once your application has been confirmed on Indra you will be registered to take the entrance exam.
Applying to IB DP (IB11)
For students who have already completed MYP10, PreIB at another school, or IGCSEs, it may be possible to apply directly to the two year Diploma Programme. Fees
There is an International Baccaulareute exam fee of approximately 7500 SEK that will be charged for the final exams. This payment is due approximately six months prior to the final examinations. The fee includes the administrative work enforced by the IBO for all the exams, administration including the delivery of the diploma and the lodging of any potential appeals. Further charges may apply if students wish to re-sit exams the following the year.
