Transition to primary one

Transition to primary one is an exciting time in a child's life and at West Barns we are committed to getting it right for every child.  We have a well planned and supportive process for the next part of your child's learning journey. 

In the summer term, welcome transition packs are sent to all new children for both in and out of catchment places.
