We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with family and friends and make some amazing memories.
We look forward to hearing all about it when we are together again!
ART GALLERY
Fine Arts recently attended the St. Albert Art Gallery. They participated in the "exploring art" program. The main exhibit is Raising St. Albert: "Early Childhood" and "Still the Grass Grows." Students created mini paintings using crayons, paints, etc.
FINE ARTS ACADEMY
The Fine Arts Academy students had Melissa from Melissa’s Floral Design in class to present a bouquet workshop. Students arranged locally grown flowers including sunflowers, dahlias and feverfew!
"HI" FROM THE HOT LUNCH TEAM
Hi Families, Staff and Volunteers,
We have decided to cancel next week's hot dog hot lunch. We will re-book it once school is back. We are messaging to give families the opportunity to cancel your orders. If you choose to cancel, please do so BEFORE midnight Friday in order to receive money back. If you choose to leave it, you will receive a credit on your Healthy Hunger account that can be used for a future hot lunch booking.
We will be sending a message to Healthy Hunger this week asking them to cancel the October 15th hot dog hot lunch.
We will try to squeeze a hot dog hot lunch in before the November 25th Hamburger Day, but won't do this until school is back (and we have the opportunity to confirm with the school schedule).
We will update everyone for the Tuesday October 21st Subway hot lunch next week!
Thanks for your understanding during this time.
Kind Regards,
--

A HUGE THANKS to our parents for making our Run such a success. Sturgeon Heights School was able to donate over $1,600 to the Terry Fox Foundation as a result of our Toonie Toss!
STEAM
Our Grade 5–9 STEAM students explored the “A” for Art through wool needle felting! They experimented with texture, technique, and creativity —
