Staff are in the School
Happy Canada Day
Enjoy your summer!
The highlight of the week was our Grade 9 Farewell. It was a wonderful event and the students seemed very excited for the day. The theme choice of "tropical" led to lots of leis and sunglasses being worn throughout the day.
Thanks to the parents and guests who were able to join us.
Good-bye and good luck to all our students as they head on to Grade 10. They are a wonderful bunch of students and we look forward to hearing about all their amazing accomplishments as they head off to Grade 10.
Thank You from SHSFA!
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts this year! Whether it was through Hot Lunch, Ice Melt, Bloomstones, Purdy’s, or other initiatives, your contributions make a big difference.
These fundraisers help us purchase important items for the school and benefit all of our students. We are so grateful for the time and energy put in by our amazing volunteers and committee/council members — your dedication does not go unnoticed!
And to everyone who purchased products and participated along the way — thank you! Your support means so much.
This year we have contributed funds to:
-Bonhomme Festival
-Daniel Gervais
-Plant Club
-Gaga Ball Pit (more on order for next year)
-Hockey Net
-Annual Kona Ice year end treat for the whole school
-300 new chairs for the gym
Beginning in September, we are looking to get some new front benches, and hopefully finish off the rest of the chairs needing to be purchased for the gym.
