The girls had an addition to their team - welcome to their new mascot!! He cheered them all the way to their wins!
Good luck to our Seniors as they participate in a tournament in Gibbons on Friday and Saturday this week!
Redwater joined us at Sturgeon Heights on Thursday - Juniors and Seniors had some super games!
FINE ARTS
Allan Bailey came in and showed the class some basics of photography, composition and light. He did a live demo of lighting using a model, Ava, and then sent the students off to use some of the techniques they learned. He gave them feedback on their pictures. They were all amazing!

The Girls' "A" team has qualified for the Quarter Finals on Saturday, February 14th! Yay!! Congratulations!

Purdy's will deliver to us between March 17th and 20th.
Families can pick up starting March 30th. Easter is the following weekend so the pick up window will be SHORT.

OUR LIBRARY NEEDS SOME HELPING HANDS...
Hi Parents: Our school library is an invaluable resource for our students, fostering a love of reading and supporting their academic growth. To keep our library running smoothly and ensure it continues to be a vibrant learning space, I am reaching out to seek volunteers.
Tasks include:
Organizing and shelving books
Labelling books
Book fair help

We can always use more! This is a paid position. Responsibilities include supervising students during lunch eating and/or monitoring the playground during lunch recess. Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children are essential.
We have the following opportunities available:
Monday to Friday - 1 hour from 11:50 to 12:50
Substitute Lunch Supervisor - as needed, 1 hour from 11:50 to 12:50

Late: If your child is coming in to the school late, please remind them to stop by the office and let us know they are in the school
Parent Helpers: Please sign in and out in the book in the office if you are helping out in a classroom or outdoor activity. We also request that parent helpers have a Criminal Record Check completed and return it to the school asap. Parking Lot: The parking lot / driveway in front of the school is "one way only." Please take care that you are driving in and out in the correct direction.
