At KIS, we deeply value the power of good literature to shape young minds and expand worldviews. We believe that by checking out a variety of literary genres regularly, our students actively develop the PYP learner profile attribute of being balanced, as they explore a rich variety of stories, cultures, and ideas. Furthermore, the shared responsibility of returning those books on time provides a practical, everyday opportunity to practice being principled. Ultimately, every book borrowed and respectfully returned is a meaningful step in fostering mindful, responsible members of our school community.
