Marilyn Safir is Professor Emeritus of Clinical and Social Psychology in the Psychology Department at the University of Haifa. Marilyn's research has focused on personality factors related to anxiety, aspects of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy as well as research in the areas of Sex, Sexuality and Gender. Marilyn has been collaborating on research into innovative technologies such as Virtual Reality for exposure in treatment with Helene Wallach ( Omitand Margalit Bar-Zvi. She is also a practicing Clinical Psychologist and one of the founders of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Sex Therapy associations in Israel.
Helene Wallach is a practicing Clinical Psychologist who combines research and therapy in her practice. Helene teaches at the University of Haifa in the Department of Psychology and supervises psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists on cognitive-behavior therapy. Helene's research interests lie in examining the use of new technology in therapy, the impact of treatment expectations on therapy as well as forensic psychology issues such as dangerousness and psychopathy.
Moshe holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota. He is a certified clinician and supervisor in clinical psychology in both treatment and testing. Moshe is a certified therapist and supervisor in family psychology and a Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology in the University of Haifa. He is a former director of the clinical psychology program and heads the Personality Assessment lab in the University.
Danny holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. He is a member and former Director of the Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Haifa. His main areas of clinical and research interests are early detection and intervention in serious mental illness. In this framework, he heads the "Bridge over Troubled Waters" Laboratory for the Study and Advancement of Youth Mental Health.
Ariela Friedman is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, and a B.Sc in Psychobiology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ariela is an intern in Clinical Psychology, and has experience in Psychotherapy with adolescents, adults and seniors.
Tom is the therapist in the Flight Phobia research. He holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a B.A. in Psychology and Hebrew from Ben-Gurion University in Be'er Sheva. He is an intern in Clinical Psychology, and currently works in "Aliyat Hano'ar" which is a clinic for adolescents. Tom has experience working with adolescents and adults.
