Prof. Roee Diamant
Roee Diamant is an Associate Prof. at the Dept. of Marine Technologies, University of Haifa, and heads the underwater Acoustic and Navigation Laboratory (ANL). He is the manager of the Haifa offshore marine observatory, THEMO. He was the coordinator of the EU H2020 project SYMBIOSIS (BG-14 track), and is the recipient of the EU ERA-Chair appointment to the University of Zagreb, Croatia. His research interests include underwater acoustic communication, underwater localization and navigation, object detection and classification, and sonar signal processing with particular applications in passive and active detection of marine fauna, and characterization of marine big data.

Ilan Shachar
Received his bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and Physics from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in 2019, and his bachelor’s degree in Marine and Environmental Science from the Ruppin Academic center in 2009. He has worked in the field of underwater surveys for several years before joining the ANL lab in 2018, and is the lab’s manager since 2019.

Shlomi Dahan
Acoustic engineer for the THEMO project, retired from the Israeli navy as a manager for submarine system (sonar, navigation and weapon system). In 2013 received the "best project" award from the Israeli navy cheaf .

Daphna graduated (B.A.) with honors in Photographic Communication from the Hadassah College in Jerusalem in 2018 Prior to attending Hadassah College, Daphna was a Padi and SSI licensed Scuba Diving Instructor.
