Welcome to the Underwater Acoustic and Navigation Laboratory (ANL) at the University of Haifa! We are excited to invite all companies and organizations passionate about conducting groundbreaking acoustic experiments or exploring underwater navigation to collaborate with us.
ANL offers a diverse range of services tailored to meet your research and development needs, including:
Acoustic Calibration Tests: Our state-of-the-art facilities include a saltwater pool for performing precise acoustic calibration tests, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment.
Distortion Level Testing: We specialize in testing distortion levels of acoustic equipment, providing crucial insights for optimizing performance and enhancing data quality.
Small-Scale Sea Experiments: Collaborate with us to conduct small-scale sea experiments using boats and scuba diving, enabling real-world testing and validation of underwater technologies.
Long-Term Measurements: Benefit from our expertise in obtaining long-term measurements, including acoustics, sea temperature, water current, waves, and salinity. Our comprehensive data collection services support informed decision-making and in-depth analysis.
In-Field Acoustic Noise Measurements: We offer in-field measurements of acoustic noise in various environments, whether in the lab, at sea, or in customer facilities, providing valuable insights into underwater soundscapes and environmental conditions.
Equipment Rental Services: Access high-quality data acquisition and acoustic transmission equipment through our rental services, empowering your research initiatives with advanced technological capabilities. (see list and photos below)
Buoys for offshore activities: Flexible floating platforms for connection of sensors, data collection, or performing experiments. The buoys have extended wifi communication for 3km, through which data can be transmitted for realtime monitoring. The buoys can work in severe weather conditions.
Our geographical reach extends to underwater experiments in the Mediterranean Sea area, the Red Sea (Eilat area), Sea of Galilee, and the unique ecosystem of the Dead Sea. Join us in advancing the field of underwater acoustics and navigation through collaborative research initiatives. Let's explore new depths together!
