How often do students take French?
Students take French 6 days in our 9 day schedule. At Galt we offer two levels of French, 'Base'and Enrichie. We also offer the option of taking Science, History, and Math in French at Secondary 1 & 2.
What other Extra-Curricular Activities are offered?

How many students are at the school?
In the 2022-2023 school year Galt has 864 students.
At what time does the school day start and end?
The Day begins at 9:05am and ends at 3:45pm. We start the day with a 30 min academic block and then run 4 blocks of 70 minutes each. We have a 20 minute recess in the morning, a 50 minute break for lunch, and a 15 minute recess in the afternoon.
How far away do Galt students come from?
Galt students come from as far as Stanstead, Windsor, Magog, Bury, and everywhere in between.
What kind of technology is given to Galt students?
Every student at Galt is issued a chromebook and many assignments are done via Google Classroom.
