NATURE OF COVID-19 IN PHILIPPINES

In Philippines COVID-19 cause a nationwide alert the public are scared, but the Philippine Government take preventive actions to lessen the spread of the virus, like travel bans to neighboring countries, nationwide suspension of classes, disinfection of public&private places, and advice to the public to stay at their homes to prevent further spread of the virus.

The first case of virus in Philippines was confirmed on January 30, 2020, in a 38-year old women from Wuhan that died two days later

The Department of Health sets contact tracing for the possible transmission of the virus in the country, then as of March 14, 2020 there are a total of 111 cases of COVID-19 in the country, the infected are isolated and treated to selected hospitals. The DOH contact tracing is still on going to lessen the casualties and secure the safety of the mass

Cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines are increasing as days goes by. The coronavirus was confirmed here in the Philippines on January 30,2020. A 38-year old woman who arrived from Wuhan but 2 days later, she also died from the virus. The Philippine government then get on high alert due to the sudden spread of this virus. There are number of people under investigation was not announced at first as it can cause panic to the public.

On March 6, 2020 the virus was said to be a human to human transmission. It was said that this man was also a relative of the first covid patient here in the Philippines. As of March 14, 2020, there are already 111 patients who are positive to corona virus. There are still people under investigation that the government are still not announcing. Also the people who are under self quarantine are still unknown to the public.
