The Norwegian krone was launched in 1875, when Norway joined the Scandinavian Monetary Union. It replaced the speciedaler/spesidaler (or speci-dollar), a currency that was used in the country between 1816 and 1875.

The palace has a different architecture style and it was built by the architect Hans Linstow.The Royal Palace can also be visited inside. Anyone that wants to go to norway should visit this beautiful palace.

The Fjords are beautiful places in norway people should see it because it is peaceful. To visit them you have to pay to a boat tour, but don’t stay till late or you’ll may get lost because the mountains/Fjord’s are really tall so at 5:30/6:00 PM you can’t see the sun and it gets really dark.

Oslo and Vikingskipshuset Museum

The Vikingskipshuset museum that is located in Oslo, Norway is a really interesting place to visit. It has a real viking ship! The Oseberg ship and the Gokstad ship are real vikings ships! I would really recommend it to everyone that goes to Norway. I've never been there but it seems really cool and interesting. Oslo has more cool attractions too! Like the Vigeland Park and the Oslo Royal Palace. Oslo is a really cool city! I think that if I went to Norway I would go to Oslo. And I recommend it to everyone that wants to go to Norway.


Stavanger Region

Stavanger is the largest city in the southwestern part of the country, and an ideal starting point if you want to tick off famous nature attractions such as the Lysefjord and Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock). I think that is very interesting because it’s very beautiful and it has a beautiful view.

Tromsø

Tromsø is the largest city in Northern Norway. With a location at nearly 70° north, and between fjords, mountain peaks, and islands, it is a prime starting point for your Arctic adventure.

The city is situated in the middle of the auroral oval, the area with the highest probability of seeing the northern lights.
