Hello! I’m Summer Rich, the Gifted and Talented Coordinator and teacher for Edmonson County School District. My family and I reside in Chalybeate, where I live with my husband, Cody, and our daughter, Dorothy. Teaching and spending time with my loved ones are some of my greatest joys.
I graduated from Edmonson County High School in 2011 and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University in 2015. I furthered my education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Gifted and Talented endorsement from WKU in 2017. My teaching experience includes two years at Bristow Elementary and four years at South Edmonson Elementary.
Since 2021, I’ve been serving as the District Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and I’m passionate about working with the incredible gifted and talented students in our community. Being an educator is my true calling, and I cherish the opportunity to support and witness the growth and learning of children every day!
