This course is designed to help you navigate communication with your child's educators, staff members, your child, and other families. We will also provide resources to help your family succeed in this new educational environment. A lot of the information for our course is already on this website. Each month during the first semester, I will be drawing your attention to particular areas on this website and in our face to face meetings so that you won't miss anything. There are also areas on this website to add questions and comments about what you are learning.

Welcome to our hybrid course for kindergarten families! Over the next 5 months, I will be providing a combination of face-to-face events and online resources to support your child's first semester of school. One of the goals is to create a community of families who can reflect and discuss the education of their child and how they can play a part in helping their child learn as well as form connections with other families attending our school to create a support system. Another goal is to equip the families of kindergarten students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to foster collaboration between families, teachers, and other stakeholders in kindergarten education, ultimately creating a positive learning environment for young children. I'm excited to have you join us!
