6th Grade Band

Welcome to 6th Grade Band at Sequoyah Middle School! 6th Grade Band separates each instrument into its own class, each with its own teacher. Early in the first semester, each class will perform at a 6th Grade Band Demonstration Concert, and twice a year, the students come together to perform a concert. Emphasis will be placed on fundamental rhythmic and melodic skills, basic instrument techniques and building overall musicianship.
