About Bee Club

We are a dedicated team of students and faculty who are passionate about bees and their impact on our environment. We work with the campus farm to create a pollinator-friendly environment on campus and educate ourselves and others about the art of beekeeping. Our club members have the opportunity to learn hands-on skills in hive management, honey extraction, and more at our beehives on the campus farm, as well as sustainable beekeeping practices and the basics of beekeeping at our educational events and lectures. In addition, we collect and sell honey produced by our bees, which is a great way to support our club and spread awareness about the importance of pollinators. Our club also hosts craft events where we use the beeswax our bees produce to make candles, lotions, and soaps.
