Hello Parents/Guardians and Students!
Welcome to our Remote Learning page for ELA. Please use the links below to access the list of assignments and activities for each ELA subject.
-All ELA assignments and materials will be available to students via Google Classroom at 9:00 AM each day. Google classroom is where students should go to complete their ELA assignments for the day.
-Students MUST attend our class meeting each day via Google Meet. This is when I teach my lessons and review assignments for the day. If your child is not able to make it, please notify me as soon as possible.
Meeting Times
Reading: 9:15
Writing: 10:30
Optional Read Aloud: 2:00
-I will keep track of attendance each day by posting a Daily Question in Google Classroom. Students should answer the question whenever they sign in to work on the activities.
-I will be available online during the hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day for students to reach out with any questions they may have or just to say hello! Please allow me some time to respond as I may not respond immediately.
-I will be checking in with students via Google Classroom, Google Meet, phone call and/or email.

Reading
Lexia - Work on Lexia for at least 10 minutes each day. Try to complete 30 minutes by Friday.
Reading assignment and response - Located in Google Classroom. To be turned in each day.
Independent reading - Aim for at least 30 minutes but try your best! Use the reading resources listed on the assignment page.
Optional daily challenge/extension activities - Located on our remote learning page.
Brain Break
Take a health break. Try a Go Noodle video or tone of the enrichment activities!
Writing
Work on Writing assignment for 20-25 minutes - To be turned in by the due date
Extension Activity - listed under the writing assignment
Optional: Journal - Write a few sentences about how your day was each day

Social Studies
Weekly slides with Social Studies activities - if assigned, complete the activities/assignments by Friday.
Enrichment Activities
Have some fun with these activities if you have some extra time or get bored!
IMPORTANT! The activity lists are evidence of your work. Be sure to submit them on Google Classroom as soon as they are completed.
