- Google classroom for each of their subjects
- Their email
- FlipGrid
These are the platforms we will be using to communicate, collect assignments, answer questions, and let students share their responses to class discussions.
Daily assignments will follow a similar framework and will be posted at the top of each subjects’ Google Classroom stream. Student questions pertaining to the day’s work can be posted on this thread and will be answered during regular school hours. Most days will follow a similar routine in each subject. See below.

The websites and apps they will be using for these assignments include: Google slides, Google docs, Newsela, Readworks, Study Island, MindPlay and/or Lexia, FlipGrid, and any other links we attach or push out.
The best thing you can do to help your kids transition to online learning this week is to help them set up a learning space and come up with a routine for “school time.” We are here to support you with that part as well, feel free to email us.

IMPORTANT! Student visibility in apps and websites, as well as completed work will be how they are marked present daily.
In addition to academics, please make an effort to spend time doing other things such as playing games, cooking, telling stories, taking walks, riding bikes, and limit screen time.
Remember Chromebooks should be used for school related activities only.
Keep any social chatting off of Chromebooks and on personal devices only.
