We Need Volunteers!

The EHS College and Career Center loves their parent volunteers. Volunteer opportunities that are available are: College Visits, Essay Writing and FAFSA assistance. If you are interested in volunteering in the EHS College and Career Center, please email Molly Thuma at molly.thuma@edinaschools.org.

College Visits

College visits are a half hour in length  with 15 minute buffer between visits.  In the fall, we typically host seven visits per day. Visits ease up at winter break, but pick up again February through April. Only seniors and juniors are allowed to attend visits first semester. Sophomores are allowed to attend visits starting second semester. Parents are NOT allowed to attend college visits.

Time Commitment: 2.5 Hours every other week

Tasks:
* Greet college/program representative at main entrance and escort to College and Career Center
* Manage student sign-in and passes
* Set-up room for next visit
* Update Naviance scholarship and enrichment lists
