What is Summer Enrichment?
Summer is the perfect time for high school students to discover new interests or learn more about a current interest. Aside from the knowledge, it can be an added advantage to a student's high school resume.
Most colleges offer summer programs for high school students. While some enrichment programs are free, most have a registration fee. The benefits of summer enrichment can include the exploration of new topics of interest, development of social skills, experience life on a college campus, and earn college credit.
Naviance is a great tool to use to search for Summer Enrichment opportunities. EHS students should log into their Naviance account, go to the Colleges tab and scroll down to Enrichment.
TeenLife Summer Enrichment Programs
Whether it’s an overnight precollege program, a local day camp, or a sleepaway adventure experience, summer programs for teens are a great to pursue new interests, improve existing skills, and make new friends outside of the classroom.
