Edina Virtual Pathway

About Edina Virtual Pathway

Edina Virtual Pathway is the name for a program through which Edina students can complete high school courses online, either to supplement their in-person classes at EHS or as a full-time alternative to attending in-person. The courses are taught by Edina teachers, often the same ones who teach the in-person versions of the same courses, and meet the same graduation standards as EHS courses.

Edina Virtual Pathway (EVP) courses are asynchronous, meaning there are no live classes. Teachers are available to meet with students, in-person at EHS or via Google Meet, when students could use help with their coursework. Students must complete work in each class every week in order to be marked 'present.' The courses are not self-paced.

EHS students may be assigned to a specific location where attendance is taken during the portion of their schedule associated with an online class.
