Suicide Prevention Campaigns 

Teen Suicide Prevention Campaign - The Suicide Prevention Lifeline, sponsored by the federal government’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), hopes to raise awareness in teens that are contemplating suicide that there are resources they can turn to and other teens that have contemplated suicide and made it through.

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or Call 988 for teens that need immediate support.



Seize the Awkward focuses on the idea that while it may feel a little difficult or awkward to speak to your friend about your concerns about them, if you accept the feeling as natural, you can move past the awkwardness and start a helpful/meaningful conversation. 

Your Life Your Voice is the website for the Boys Town National Hotline, a free resource established in 1989 for kids, ​teens, and young adults.  ​​​​​Counselors are available 24/7 and have a wide range of experiences working with kids and families who are frustrated, anxious, depressed, faced with an overwhelming challenge, or just need someone to talk to. The Your Life Your Voice website features “real advice for real situations” and a tips section with articles on topics such as managing stress, coping skills, relationships, self-esteem, how to talk to your parents, and more.

You may also be interested in My Life My Voice, an interactive mood mobile app that lets you track your thoughts, feelings and moods right on your mobile device. My Life My Voice is available from Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
