It's Me - Hi!

Welcome to the Library!

Greetings and welcome to the library! My name is Ms. Mock and this is my 18th year teaching. I spent my first eight years in the classroom teaching reading, writing, and science to my fantastic fifth graders. Then, I felt God's call on my life and went back to school for my Masters of Library Science so that I could pursue my biggest passion, reading. I've been in the library ever since and I love every moment of it.

One of the greatest joys I have is helping students develop a love of reading and helping them find books they will love!

My parents always encouraged me to read and believe that I could do anything. They are a HUGE part of who I am today!

Favorite Book

I'm often asked the question, what is your favorite book. Hands down, my favorite book is "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. I read it for the first time in 3rd grade and have read it practically every year since then. Can't get enough of this timeless, beautiful story!

Favorite Author

Another question that I am often asked is "who is your favorite author?" Ally Carter is my favorite and all of her books are incredible. She is absolutely amazing and has such wonderful books that I encourage everyone to read! Be sure to visit her website HERE
