Listen to your language - proactive language puts you back in control
Don't play victim - you are in control and don't let others determine your attitude
Take responsibility for your choices and actions
Think before you speak
Bounce back when bad things do happen
Always find a way - no matter what
Focus on things you have control over and don't worry about things that you can't control
Proactive people have a positive, can-do attitude that is contagious to those around them
Develop a clear picture of where you want your life to go.
Decide on your personal values and principles.
Set realistic goals for yourself.
You are the driver, decide where you want to go in life and create a map to get there.
You don't have to plan every aspect of your life. Decide on your destination and enjoy the ride!
Successful people are often the ones who can do what needs to be done rather than doing what they want.
They realize that this must happen in order for them to reach their goals.
We can see a good example of that right now: some students are completing their school work and others are putting it off.
Are you "putting first thing first"? Are you doing what needs to be done or are you doing what you need to do?
Think Win Win
Think Win Win means everyone can win. Instead of just you or me - it means both of us.
We work together to find a solution that benefits everyone one involved. We all give a little to create a situation where everyone can be happy.
We will use integrity and maturity to search for the best outcome for everyone. It is not always just about what best for me. It's what is best for everyone!
Seek First to Understand Then to be Understood
Listen first, talk second.
If you can learn this simple habit to see things from the other's point of view before sharing your own - a whole new world of understanding will open up for you.
“Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.” - Dr. Stephen Covey

Celebrate your differences!
We can all get along better when we value each others strengths.
Sharpen the Saw
It’s all about BALANCE, being able use all the habits to ‘make’ the time to refresh, revitalize, and refuel your body, mind, heart, and soul.
The only way we can be effective if to take care of ourselves.
