According to School District 272 policies, all students attending events and/or practices as a member of a school team or group are required to ride the district-provided transportation when such transportation is provided. As a convenience to our participants and their parents/guardians, students may be driven by their parent/guardian to and/or from a school- sponsored event in a privately-owned vehicle subject to a release form signed by both student and parent being presented in the Student Activities Office at least one day prior to the event.
In order to drive your athlete, or another athlete if carpooling, home from away meets, you must fill out this District Transportation Release Form . We cannot accept last minute emails, phone calls, texts etc. All athletes can take the bus back, and we prefer they do! So much team bonding happens on the bus ride home!
