Why: We’ve all attended meetings that seem to go nowhere, are dominated by the talking of only a handful of people, and probably could have been handled by way of email. Time is a valuable resource that we cannot afford to waste. There are some key meeting practices that teams can use to maximize their time and collaborative potential. These practices fall into the following four categories:
Intentional
Data-Driven
Action-Oriented
Reflective
Outcome: Participants will understand the importance of effective meeting practices, determine possible data to explore at effective meetings, and analyze an example School Leadership Team meeting.
