Online safety basics - consider making a family tech agreement.

One way to encourage a discussion on online safety with young people is by creating a family contract together.

This way everyone knows what is expected of them when they’re using the internet - including mobile phones, tablets and other devices.

Sonya Ryan from the Carly Ryan Foundation discusses the use of a Family Online Safety Contract. The contract is an agreement for parents/carers and their children to ensure safe internet use.
