Student Services

During Term 3 Student Services are still available to support your academic and welfare needs. Please contact your year coordinator by email to discuss any issues that may arise over the term.

The College PC Google Classrooms page will also be updated weekly with resources and activities for you to connect with. Likewise, your PC / Tutorial teacher will also touch base via a virtual classroom sessions each week.

Our college Psychologist is also available to contact via email Elise.Watson@ed.act.edu.au


Please note the School Psychologist email may not be checked daily and they are not a crisis or emergency service. The School Psychologist will respond to your email within their regular days and hours of work at MCSS. If you are in an emergency situation or need immediate assistance, please contact emergency services on 000 or mental health services. If you need to speak to someone urgently, call Lifeline 13 11 14 or Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467.

Legal Aid


The Legal Liaison Officer – Jodie Campbell, is a lawyer from Legal Aid ACT who can to provide free and confidential legal advice to Melba Copland College students and their families during the lockdown. Jodie can provide students with free and confidential legal help across a range of legal areas including family violence, moving out of home and renting, Centrelink issues, protection orders (PPOs and FVOs), family law, police matters and criminal law, employment law and debt and fines.
