Yr 2 - Spotlight on Learning

Year 2 has been busy getting to know our teachers and classroom routines. The children are excitedly engaging in learning and exploring our learning areas. We have been busy becoming familiar with our new maths resources - Bond Blocks. Every morning we are working through our Year 2 InitiaLit program which focuses on spelling, grammar, and comprehension and fluency.

During cross curricular lessons we are focusing on our place in our community. It has been lots of fun and we enjoyed creating posters of our school community to share with each other. 

Some examples of our wonderful work can be seen in the following photos. We are looking forward to our first ever swimming carnival in the coming weeks.
