Canteen Volunteers Needed
Canteen Volunteers Needed
To help keep the Macgregor Primary School Canteen running smoothly, and to continue offering students the option of ordering food at school, we are seeking volunteers to assist with food preparation and serving during the first and second breaks at the canteen window.
If you are able to lend a hand, we would love to hear from you!
We always welcome feedback, questions, and new volunteers.

P&C Music Scheme – Enrolments for 2026
P&C Music Scheme – Enrolments for 2026
The P&C Music Scheme is returning in 2026, offering students the opportunity to learn piano, drums, or guitar during school hours. Lessons are delivered onsite by tutors from Canberra Music Tuition (CMT) and run for 30 minutes each week.
Students will need a notebook for communication and a music book recommended by their tutor.
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, please contact CMT directly; one make‑up lesson per term is available with more than 24 hours’ notice.
CMT invoices families each term ($47 per lesson in 2025; subject to change), and the P&C charges a $10 annual registration fee.
Students may also have the chance to participate in CMT’s Spring Concert and the school’s End‑of‑Year Music Recital.
