Our Student Services team is here to support students in finding the right path for their learning and future goals. Whether exploring hands-on learning through the Knowledge and Employability (K&E) courses or receiving individualized support in the ARISE Program, we are committed to helping every student succeed. Reach out to Student Services for more information on these programs and how they can support your journey.Â
The Knowledge and Employability courses are designed for students who meet specific criteria and thrive in hands-on learning environments that blend essential and employability skills within occupational settings. These courses offer students pathways to enter the workforce or further their education. Rather than a structured program with set credit allocations, K&E follows a sequence of courses. Students enrolled in this pathway earn a Certificate of Achievement, with the option to upgrade their coursework to obtain a High School Diploma.
The ARISE Program at SPA supports students with physical, intellectual, communication, or multiple exceptionalities. It provides individualized special education programming and services tailored to help each student reach their full potential.
Students in the program participate in appropriate complementary courses within an inclusive setting. A key focus of the ARISE Program is to equip students with essential life and work skills, preparing them for a smooth transition into the community after high school.
