Sports Performance 9 is intended to provide students with the knowledge and understanding to live a healthy, active lifestyle. By the end of the course, students should feel more comfortable and confident in the fitness center. This class is designed for students who are involved in sport activities and want to improve their abilities. This class is also designed for students who do not participate in sports, but are interested in making resistance training a part of their fitness journey toward becoming a healthy, active teenager. Students will learn about general anatomy, proper nutrition, sport nutrition, how to resistance train safely, how to create a basic fitness program using linear periodization, and much more.Â
