Our Dance program offers an inspiring journey through movement, creativity, and performance. In Dance 15, students build a strong foundation in various dance genres, focusing on techniques, physical fitness, and self-awareness. Dance 25 deepens this exploration, emphasizing musicality, dance history, and performance skills while boosting confidence and creativity. By Dance 35, students engage in advanced choreography, personal composition, and in-depth analysis, refining their artistry and performance abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this program is designed to nurture your passion and help you shine on and off the stage!
DANCE 15 (3 credits) - The dance program places an emphasis on the fundamentals of various genres of dance. This class will expose students to a variety of dance styles, techniques, and possibilities. Emphasis will be placed on promoting physical fitness, awareness, and well-being. In addition to developing an understanding of the fundamentals, dance enables students to progress at their own level and to develop, appreciate and critique their own skill.
DANCE 25 (3 credits) - Focus will be placed on the musicality, orientation, history, and techniques associated with various genres of dance. This class is intended to develop confidence, concentration, creativity, and performance qualities.
DANCE 35 (3 credits) - Dance 35 is a comprehensive study of dance styles. Students will create, demonstrate, and analyze their personal compositions, placement and techniques based on elements of choreography. This course continues to build performer's confidence, concentration, creativity, and performance qualities.
