Oversight Committee

As stated in Board policy, an oversight committee may been formed to oversee the district program.  

The committee will be comprised of objective persons knowledgeable in the use of therapy dogs will convene to help with issues and questions that may arise concerning handlers or dogs. Members of the committee may include:

1. Professional Therapy Dog Handler

2. School Counselor 

3. Professional Therapy Dog Owners residing in the ECSD

4. Parent Representative

5. ECSD Student Representative

6. ECSD Wellness Committee Member

7. ECSD Teacher

8. District Administrator 

9. Local veterinarian (on-call)
