Gameplay Basics 🎋

The goal of Fluff Tycoon is to grow your bamboo farm from a single plant into a massive, automated empire. You'll harvest bamboo stalks, sell them for coins, and reinvest your earnings to expand and upgrade your operations.

The Core Loop

1. Harvest Stalks: Click the Harvest Bamboo button to manually gather stalks from your plants.

2. Sell Stalks: Click the Sell Stalks button to convert your bamboo stalks into coins. The price fluctuates, so sell high!

3. Purchase & Upgrade: Use your coins to buy more Plants, hire Panda Helpers for automation, and purchase powerful Upgrades to increase your efficiency.

4. Prestige: Once you've earned enough, you can Prestige to reset your progress in exchange for a permanent boost, allowing you to earn even more in your next playthrough.

Resources 💰

Managing your resources is the key to success.

• Stalks 🎋: The primary resource, gathered from your Bamboo Plants. Stalks can be sold for Coins or converted into Research Points.

• Coins 💰: The main currency. Used to buy almost everything, from new plants and helpers to powerful upgrades.

• Plants 🌱: The number of bamboo plants you own. Each plant contributes to your manual harvest total.

• Helpers 🧑‍🌾: Panda helpers automatically harvest stalks for you every second, creating a passive income stream.

• Stalks/sec 📈: Shows the total number of stalks your helpers are generating each second.

• Research 🧪: Research Points are earned by studying your bamboo stalks. They are used to unlock permanent, powerful upgrades in the Research Lab.

• Golden Bamboo 🌟: The prestige currency. Earned by resetting your game after reaching a high total coin value. Each Golden Bamboo provides a permanent +10% coin bonus on all future playthroughs.

• Oil 🛢️: A valuable late-game resource discovered by drilling. It can be sold for a high price or used for advanced crafting.

• Guards 🛡️: Hired pandas that protect your farm from raids, reducing the number of resources lost.

These are the buttons you'll use to build your empire.

Actions

• Harvest Bamboo: Manually gather stalks. The amount you get is determined by your number of plants and your Basket Upgrade level.

• Sell Stalks: Convert all your stalks into coins. The price is affected by the Panda Market, your Market Upgrade level, and your Golden Bamboo bonus.

• Sell Oil: Sell your stored oil for a large amount of coins.

• Study Bamboo: Convert all your stalks into Research Points at a 10:1 ratio (10 stalks = 1 research point).

Purchases

• Buy Plant: Increases the number of plants you own. The cost increases with each purchase.

• Hire Helper: Hires a panda to automatically harvest for you. The cost increases with each purchase.

• Buy Guard: Hires a panda guard to defend your farm. The cost increases with each purchase.

• Drill for Oil: A costly one-time purchase that gives you a chance to discover oil on your farm, unlocking a new resource.

• Pay for Protection: A very expensive late-game purchase that grants 100 guards and makes you immune to raids from the Chinese Government.

Upgrades, Research, & Crafting

Upgrades

These are permanent improvements that boost your efficiency.

• Upgrade Baskets: Increases the number of stalks you get from each manual harvest.

• Panda Training: Increases the number of stalks your helpers gather per second.

• Better Markets: Increases the base value of your bamboo stalks when you sell them.

Research Lab

The Research Lab allows you to spend Research Points to unlock powerful, multi-level enhancements to your farm.

• Adv. Fertilizers: Increases manual harvest yield.

• Hydroponics: Increases helper speed.

• Panda Economics: Increases the coin value of stalks.

• Panda Logistics: Makes Special Orders appear more frequently.

Crafting

Using late-game resources like Oil, you can craft powerful items.

• 3D Printer: Costs 10,000,000 Stalks and 500,000 Oil. Each printer generates 5,000 coins per second.

Key Features

Panda Market

The price of bamboo isn't static! The Panda Market price changes every 30 seconds, fluctuating between 50% and 150% of the base value. Time your sales to maximize profits!

Pet Sanctuary 🐾

You can spend coins to find a pet. Each pet you find provides a unique, permanent passive bonus to your empire. Pets are kept through prestige resets.

Raids & Defense

As your farm grows, it will attract unwanted attention. There is a chance every minute that you will be raided by either the Chinese Government or, if you've discovered oil, the American Government.

• Raids will cause you to lose a percentage of your stalks, coins, and research points.

• Hiring Panda Security Guards 🛡️ increases your defense, reducing the amount of resources lost during a raid.

Events & Orders

• Random Events: Timed events that can randomly occur, providing powerful temporary boosts (like Bountiful Harvest) or penalties (like a Market Crash).

• Seasonal Events: Some months have special events. For example, the Summer Festival in July makes helpers 25% faster.

• Special Orders: Occasionally, you will receive a special order to deliver a large number of stalks or coins within a time limit for a valuable reward, like bonus coins or research points.

Prestige System 🌟

When you have earned a total of at least 1,000,000 coins, you can prestige.

• What it does: Resets your progress (stalks, coins, plants, helpers, upgrades, research).

• What you keep: You keep all Achievements, Pets, and Golden Bamboo.

• What you gain: You earn Golden Bamboo based on your total coins earned. Each Golden Bamboo gives a permanent +10% coin bonus, making every future run faster and more profitable.
