Our beautiful Jr/Sr High Library Media Center began as a gym and auditorium in the 1930s. The high school library at that time was in what is now the Main Office. In the 1980s, a new gym was built, and after serving as temporary classrooms during construction, the former gym was redesigned as a modern media center. (During the transition, books were checked out from a trailer in front of the building!) Today, Ellenville's Jr/Sr High School Media Center houses over 10,000 titles and provides online access to hundreds of digital e/audio books, research databases, and reference materials.
