Whether you are a new or returning student, welcome to ECR! This page will help you access the online training course and prepare for the start of the Fall 2020 semester.
We have created this course to give students an introduction to the applications used at ECR. Students can access this course through Canvas.
Most students have been automatically enrolled. If you do not see the course, please sign in to Canvas, then follow this link https://ecrchs.instructure.com/enroll/NCC3PE to enroll on the course
El Camino uses a single sign-on, meaning you only need to remember your school email and password to sign in to everything.
Your School Email is your student ID # followed by "@ecrchs.org." For example, if your ID is 116089, your email will be 116089@ecrchs.org.
The default password is "ecrchs8617" -- BE SURE TO CHANGE THIS IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU SIGN IN. Instructions for changing your password can be found on the "SSO & Password Reset" page in the "Student Center" of this website.
Canvas is El Camino's Learning Management System, or LMS. You will use Canvas to complete school work assigned by your teachers. It's a good idea to sign in to Canvas now to ensure you are enrolled in the correct courses. Once you are signed in, click "Courses" > all courses from the left navigation sidebar. You can sign in to Canvas from any internet-connected computer you have.
There's three ways to sign in to Canvas:
Click the tile on your single sign-on homepage (sso.ecrchs.net) - easiest
Click the Canvas button at the top right of the ECR website, then click "Student & Staff" login
Open ecrchs.instructure.com and sign in with your ECRCHS email and password
ECR uses Teams for class communication and class video conferencing.
To access your classes, open Canvas, then open the class you are currently attending. Click the Teams meeting link
To sign in to Teams, use your ECR email and password. Your classes should appear.
