Hello Ayden Middle students and families! My name is Brittany Johnson. I am a native of Pitt County. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Education. After graduating in 2015, I accepted my first job as a high school science teacher. In 2018, I decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in Counselor Education. I knew that I wanted to help students who experienced academic difficulties and challenging life circumstances. I want to help students on a social/emotional level, as well as help them develop academic and career goals. I graduated from ECU in May of 2021 with a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education. I am married to my loving husband and we have one precious baby boy who is almost one year old. I am excited to begin my eighth year as an educator and my third year as a school counselor. I am so happy to be apart of the Ayden Middle School Staff. I am officially a Knight again! I am looking forward to the 23-24 school year!!
