Payment instruction

• EO School Round — The registration fee is NT$ 700. A receipt will be provided by email.

• TEO Preliminary — The registration fee is NT$ 1,500. A receipt will be provided during check-in.

  • Receive a NT$200 discount for TEO Preliminary if you join the EO School Round.

Remittance (money transfer) is the only way to finish the payment. The destination account information* is as follows:

• Participation fee can be waived provided a participant comes from a financially-challenged family. The host will exercise lenient discretion in reviewing cases.  ❤️‍🩹
• Full refund is guaranteed in case of cancelation of the competition due to a force majeure or other factors identified by the organizer(s). No refund is provided in case of no-show due to personal reasons.

Registrant requirements

To be a contestant in the Taiwanese Economics Olympiad, you must concurrently

• • be an ROC Taiwanese citizen in possession of a valid 🪪 national ID card or 📗 passport or
    a foreign national* in possession of a valid  🪪 ROC (Taiwan) Resident Certificate who is enrolled for school in Taiwan,

According to Ministry of the Interior law, “foreign nationals” are Resident Certificate holders who are ROC citizens without household registration in Taiwan; Hong Kong and Macao residents; Mainland Chinese (PRC) individuals, or other foreign nationals.

In line with international practice, those entering Taiwan for tourism, business, or family reunion are not eligible for registration.

• • be aged below 20 on and before June 30, 2027, and

  • have never been a college student.
