How to register

Please sign up with our online registration form (open between October 27 and December 1).

⚠️ Before you fill out the form, you must finish payment by remitting/transferring the registration fee to the designated account (see below) for one-time confirmation of registrant information by email.

An official confirmation email can take up to 3 workdays after the day of your registration to arrive.

Registrant requirements

To be a contestant in the Taiwanese Economics Olympiad, you must concurrently

- be an ROC Taiwanese citizen in possession of a valid national ID card or a foreign national* in possession of a valid ROC (Taiwan) Resident Certificate who is enrolled for school in Taiwan,

According to law, “foreign nationals” are Resident Certificate holders who are

- - ROC citizens without household registration in Taiwan,
  - Hong Kong and Macao residents,
  - Mainland Chinese (PRC) individuals, or
  - Other foreign nationals.

In line with international practice, those entering Taiwan for tourism, business, or family reunion are not eligible for registration.

- be aged below 20 on and before June 30, 2026, and
- have never been a college student.

Payment instruction

The registration fee is NT$ 1,500. A receipt will be provided upon the arrival of a contestant in the Preliminary on December 20, 2025.

Remittance (money transfer) is the only way to finish the payment. The destination account information* is as follows:

Full refund is guaranteed in case of cancelation of the competition due to a force majeure or other factors identified by the organizer(s). No refund is provided in case of no-show due to personal reasons.
