EO 2026: Taiwan Wins 1 Gold, 3 Silvers &1 Bronze
Ranked First Globally in Total Results
The TEO has been dedicated to fostering economics literacy and international engagement for high school students in Taiwan since we created avenues toward international competitions from Taiwan in 2019.
While most resources are in English, we create new possibilities in bilingual economics. As our aspiration to allow economics literacy to take deeper root, we have made possible the EO in Taiwan to reduce the impact of language barriers. This initiative also echoes Taiwan’s bilingual policy.
Mandarin Chinese remains the primary learning medium in Taiwan. Through the EO, we aspire to offer students the freedom to choose between English and Mandarin Chinese, so that language barriers do not limit interdisciplinary learning and access to international competitions.
