Lori Rabinovitch, who holds a Ph. D. from McGill University, is an international education consultant. For several years, she helped develop curriculum for the Province of Québec, Canada and subsequently began working on curriculum reform projects in Africa, the Middle East, and South America on behalf of UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education. Lori’s background and training is in the Philosophy of Education, a field that is becoming increasingly important as educators recognize that the underlying values guiding curriculum development can, quite literally, shape a country’s future direction.
