Natural Disasters
Natural Disasters are very destructive events that changes Earth. Natural Disasters can affect the environment, and they can damage homes, and cities. Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Landslides, and Volcanoes are examples of Natural Disasters. Here are some information of how these Natural Disasters can form. Tornadoes form from clouds and they travel across the land, damaging the areas around them, such as homes and cities. Earthquakes are form when a slab of land and another slab of land push against each other, and then one of the slabs goes up, which makes the shaking happen. All the homes above the Earthquake collapses. Hurricanes are formed when wind speeds increase more than 74, which is called a tropical cyclone or a hurricane. Hurricanes take energy from warm ocean water to become more stronger, and supplies on warm, moist air. Landslides happen when Earthquakes occur on steep slopes many times that makes the soils slip, causing landslides. Landslides can also be occurred by sloped areas being soaked by heavy rainfall.
