Military Family Liaison
A Military Family Liaison serves as a bridge between military-connected families, the school, and the community to help ensure every student feels supported, welcomed, and successful. On an elementary campus, the liaison assists families with transitions related to military life, connects them with school and community resources, and helps foster strong communication between home and school. By supporting the unique social, emotional, and academic needs of military children, the Military Family Liaison helps create a caring and inclusive environment where students and families can thrive.
The Military Family Liaison duties and responsibilities include:
Helps to integrate military-connected students into their campus.
Advises students
Coordinates with the Ambassador Program and Student Advisory Committee to support military connected students
Upon arrival of new Military students, liaison communicates with teachers, and families to ensure a smooth transition process
Builds positive relationships with students and families to create a welcoming environment.
Advocate and provides programs program information and support to military families
