Introduction to Magnetism:

• Basics of magnetic materials and their properties.

• The role of magnetism in modern electronic devices.

The Concept of Magnetoresistance:

• Understanding magnetoresistance and its types (e.g., GMR, TMR).

• Applications in data storage and sensor technologies.

Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM):

• Overview of MRAM technology and its working principles.

• Advantages of MRAM in non-volatile memory applications.

Domain Wall Devices:

• Fundamentals of domain walls and their dynamics.

• Emerging applications of domain wall devices in spintronics and logic circuits.

Workshop Fees

The rebate in program fee is applicable only to “currently enrolled or working” students/scholars/faculty/post-doc. The below fees are inclusive of GST. The fee is non-refundable. The candidates are advised to deposit the fee after careful consideration. This fee does not include the lunch/dinner or accommodation expenses (which the participants have to arrange on their own). This fee includes the refreshments costs.

2. Students, research scholars from other colleges -         INR 700/-

3. Faculty/post-doc       - INR 1000/-

4. Other Participants   - INR 1300/-

Note: On 21st Dec, the workshop will end at 1pm, so participants are advised to book their travel/accommodation accordingly.
