Mr. Hanson

Welcome! My name is Mr. Hanson, and this is my first year as a Physical Education teacher and my first year at Flynn Elementary School. I am extremely excited to be active and get moving with everyone. I have all sorts of fun games and activities planned for us this year. My goal in physical education class is to create a SAFE and FUN environment, to do so I need your help!

Along with creating a SAFE and FUN environment our goal in physical education is for everyone to learn to make healthy choices and feel successful when participating in a variety of activities. This will enable you to develop a positive attitude towards physical activity and to develop healthy habits that hopefully last a lifetime.

A little bit about myself, I love soccer and am entering my 10^th year coaching in the Eau Claire area. This year I am coaching an Under-14 Eau Claire United team! When you get to school check out your teachers being active on the bulletin board outside of the gym! I am extremely excited to get active with all of you and teach you the skills so you can go out on your own adventures.

Please come prepared to physical education class! Being prepared looks like...

• Wearing athletic/comfortable clothing – we are both inside and outside so come prepared for the weather!

• Wearing athletic/tennis shoes every phy ed day! For your own safety please bring tennis shoes to be worn on phy ed days!
