Reading

· Each unit in Reading is one week long- Unit 6 week 3 is from March 30-April 3rd

· The stories we’re reading are A Job for You, Cool Jobs, & Jobs at School. Please read these with your child. Talk about the questions on the Comprehension Check.

· We usually do the practice worksheets on the board together, but I have printed them off for students to do. Have them do all of them for the Cool Jobs unit.

· Have your student complete spelling & grammar for the unit in their workbook

· I am sending home a Reading activity packet- this is optional

· Can play your centers game I sent home

· Pick one leveled reader book to read per day

· Complete the onomatopoeia book – read once per day.

· Pick 3 writing prompts to write in their journal – color the square once complete
