Unit 6 week 2, is from March 23-27

· The stories we’re reading are: Nothing Stops Cory, Whistle for Willie and Seeing-Eye Dogs. Please read these with your child. Talk about the questions on the Comprehension Check- Think and Compare part (not retell the story) Also complete the Your Turn part with your student- may write it on a piece of paper, or talk about them.

· We usually do the practice worksheets on the board together, but I have printed them off for students to do. Have them do all of them for Whistle for Willie story (says it at the bottom)

· Complete spelling & grammar- for the unit in their workbook

· Pick 3 writing prompts to write in their journal – color the square once complete

· Complete the unit 6 week 2 activity packet called I can Do It

· Play the centers game- these are great to play independently, or with a sibling/parent! Please send them back after.

· Read one of the leveled readers book a day

· Color by sight word worksheet
