Welcome to Riveroaks Elementary School, home of the Mighty Eagles!

Riveroaks has been part of my story since 2010, when I moved from Florida to Baton Rouge and joined the school as a 2nd grade math teacher. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving this community in many roles, including 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher, instructional coach, dean, assistant principal, and now principal since July 2022. 

Riveroaks is more than just the school where I work; it is a place that has been deeply meaningful to my family as well. All three of my children attended Riveroaks, so I have experienced firsthand the love, care, and commitment that make this school such a special place for students and families.

Riveroaks is filled with incredible diversity, strong traditions, and a tremendous amount of heart. Every day, I am inspired by our students, families, faculty, and staff, who work together to create a school community where children are loved, challenged, and encouraged to grow.

As principal, I am committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and proud to be a Riveroaks Eagle. We believe in high expectations, meaningful relationships, and the power of working together to help every child succeed.
