Here is the 2024-2025 School Year LEAP Schedule
Below I have created links that take you to the different grade level and subject assessment guides given by the state. It includes information on:
how many questions with be on the test.
what types of questions will be on the test.
what will be allowed or prohibited during the test.
reference sheets given to the students during the test.
other helpful information.
In every grade level tab there will be a breakdown of each session and what types of questions will be included in them along with how many points they are worth. This table explains what Type I, Type II, and Type III tasks means.
Type I problems are usually going to be your straightforward problems on content (multiple choice, drag and drop, select all that apply, drop-down, etc.).
Type II problems require you to use mathematical reasoning to make arguments or critiques on the information (ie. you are given a sample of work and you have to find the error, explain what is wrong, and find the correct answer).
Type III problems are your real-world problems that require multiple steps and giving a detailed explanation.
This is an explanation of the five possible scores a student can receive on the LEAP Assessments.
