This is a practice test that is set up in the same format as the Math LEAP assessment that will be taken this year. I have other practice tests and the answer keys. If a student wants to check their answers or get more practice tests, they can contact me in my classroom (A1) or at the email at the bottom of each page.
There are practice sample problems towards the end of the assessment guide. Their answers/rubrics are at the end of the document.

A DETAILED LIST OF THE TYPES OF PROBLEMS ON THE TEST ARE IN THE ASSESSMENT GUIDE THAT IS LINKED AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE.
Type I problems are usually going to be your straightforward problems on content (multiple choice, drag and drop, select all that apply, drop-down, etc.).
Type II problems require you to use mathematical reasoning to make arguments or critiques on the information (ie. you are given a sample of work and you have to find the error, explain what is wrong, and find the correct answer).
Type III problems are your real-world problems that require multiple steps and giving a detailed explanation.
The following table includes information on the total tasks, total points, and percentage of assessment points by task-type point-values.
The list below summarizes the tools and resources for the grade 6 mathematics assessment.
